  Ritesh Arya Scrapping of Defense deals does not mean weakening our borders. It only means that India means business. Our borders are strong and will always remain strong.
  
  Kargil war was not won due to BOFORS but we won it because more than 500 soldiers sacrificed their lives for the nation. There was a time when we ran short of ammunition in the War and the Swedish company did not have ammunition for the Bofors. But our soldiers never lost their morale and climbed and conquered the peaks without BOFORS. YEH DIL MANGAY MORE showed the way for the victory.  If Bofors was the reason for wining then we should not have lost so many young soldiers.
  We lost more pilots flying Russian aircraft in peace than in wars. Why PILOTS died in India and not in USSR flying the same planes.
  
  By buying imported weapons we are just feeding the economies of the west. As we are paying for the luxuries of the OIL PRODUCING NATIONS when we import OIL. Recent unwarranted threat by US president over COVID drug shows where we actually stand in the eyes of the these so-called developed nations
  
  Only investing in manufacturing indigenous weaponry can boost the morale of the Indian troops. And we will be ready to take the world on our terms. This is the right time.
  
  Scrapping the outdated defense deals and investing in the Indian defense manufacturing system though from the scratch is the only answer. The earlier we start the better it is. If we could make the state of art satellite and supercomputers we will also make world-class weapons at very low costs. Saved money can be invested in improving the Basic Essential Sevices.
  
  The only thing is we never thought about it.
